Because Pilates works!!!
The “No Pain No Gain” method at the gym that so many people are accustom to should be a thing of the past. Do you know if your hamstrings are flexible enough to be on the bike for 30 minutes? Do you really know if your current exercises meet your body’s demands??? Do you now how much weight your back is strong enough to lift? Do you really know which part of your body needs to gain strength and flexibility? Pilates with me will asnwer these questions and get your body on the path to good health and fitness.
Joseph Pilates said:
“ Physical Fitness is the first requisite to Happiness”
But if your exercises are causing your muscles to tighten up and making your posture even worse, it is unlikely your efforts will lead you to happiness
I will teach you to be aware of your own body, to move correctly and to find the happiness that Joe was talking about !!
When you do Pilates with me, not only will your self-awareness increase, but you will also tone your body and gain lean muscle which will make you move more gracefully. In Nature, we never see any tigers running with tight hamstrings or suffering from the lower back pain that can result from it. Nor do we see buff jumping frogs. All animals have lean muscle but not tight, tensed muscle as we usually do, which usually causes us some pain.
